We liked Athol's soft and downy sparrow caught in the branches of a flowering tree in the Spring, before the leaves could hide him.
photography
Athol was well pleased with having caught the bluetit as it dropped down from its branch.

Bob D is a keen photographer of rare butterflies. This is a Marsh Fritillary. Brian liked the way its head was directly above the flower and he liked the colour scheme of the picture.
photography
This is Bob's own choice - a swallowtail, and he chose it because of its rarity and the difficulty of finding it.

Bob liked his rather sad-looking robin.

Sonia admired Brian's picture of deer. She thought it was a lovely pastoral picture and very artistic.

Brian was pleased with his locust and the way that it lay exactly in the gap between the planks, and the repitition of lines in wood and creature.
