Martin chose this colourful bird, found in Fife Zoo, near Ladybank
Anne selected his zebra because the eye was in focus and there was a lot of detail

Sonia admired Morag's perched bird of prey, in good focus.
Morag liked her picture of horses at the Highland Show being spruced up ready for the ring.

Neil had found an attractive dog to photograph but the result had too much distracting background. He found a feature on his phone which enabled him to select just the dog with precision.
Ruth admired his picture of gannets on Bass Rock featuring a pair "kissing". She liked the contrast of colours between gannets and background.

Sue liked the colours in this picture from Ruth, and the texture of both water and feathers.
Ruth was pleased to capture the shadow of the moth on the nettle leaf.

Sandra chose her Red Soldier Beetle which she had taken in her garden. She felt the beetle has come out quite clearly and was pleased with the colours in the blurred background.
Athol thought Sandra's "squirrel in a hurry", taken in the Botanic Gardens, was a rare shot.
