In March our topic was "Texture", which we have tried a few times before. The result was the usual varied selection of interesting pictures.

Brian thought you could almost feel the air blowing in this shot from Alex
Alex felt this one worked even better than he expected.

Anne liked the colours as well as the texture in her trombonist picture
Martin thought the contrasting textures worked well in this one from Anne. A very successful picture.

Ruth liked the contrast between the coloured ropes and the leather, between the stitching and the metal in this picture from Athol.
Athol was pleased with his black belt against a black background, the sheen and the way the light falls on the leather.

Bob D chose his picture of a Small Copper butterfly at least in part because of the effort that had gone in getting to it to take it!

Mary liked the texture of the feathers and the colours of this ball of fluff which is a long tailed tit.
