The challenge this month was to take pictures from above, below or indeed from any unusual angle. This resulted in some very interesting pictures as you will see. This page shows pictures from Wednesday group.

Brian chose Anne's picture taken at the Dundee V&A for its strong lines. It resulted in an abstract picture, with the added perspective of the figures on the stairs.

Anne herself was pleased with this picture of concrete and water outside the centre.
BW

Brian thought his picture of the Union Chain Bridge worked well, with the boat and man looking up hoving into view. He liked the touches of red, the shadows and the lines.

Marthe thought Brian's Whitby Abbey worked well, with the perspective being effective, the colours and the fact that there was a good sky.
LD

Sonia admired these apples from Les, with the light and shadows on the fruit.

Les himself thought his flowers looked like three dancers, and was pleased with the areas of sharpness and areas not focused.
MM

Marthe was pleased with this zinging yellow flower and the wasp in focus.

Martin chose this picture of the river Garry, looking down but with the reflection of the sky in the water. He found the bend in the river intriguing.
MB

Mary liked Martin's engine, with the steam puffing out from below. She liked the angle of the picture.

Martin himself liked his derelict jetty.
