In August we had an outing to the National Mining Museum in order to take pictures together. This was a different type of venue for us. We expected to take some unusual pictures and here they are. The topic for September was Circles and there are pictures on this topic too, along with the occasional "Seasonal" shot.

Sonia chose Anne's picture from the Mining Museum for the shapes with a glimpse of brickwork through the spaces.

Anne herself was pleased with her "Seasonal" picture of two ladies looking out to sea. We all admired this one for its picture postcard feel and the way the light fell.

Sonia liked the light in this shot from Athol, and the figure below the stair case added to the composition, filling the space in that corner.

Athol himself liked his engine picture, with the train the only colour and the light all around.

Bob was pleased with this interesting arrangement, almost monochrome.

Bob called this one "Floral Fractals" and Ingrid chose it for the colours.
BW

Brian liked this picture from his. The fish create a circle and there are two balanced triangles of green in the corners.

Mary chose this one for its straight lines and circles.

We all admired Fiona's coloured wheelbarrows, parked ready for use in transporting shopping home in an area with no cars.

Fiona chose her abandoned truck taken at the Mining Museum. She felt the train lines led the eye into the picture.
