Les: Apples, using a wide aperture (f2.7) to get a shallow field of view
A favourite for Les, carrots taken using a matt black "mini studio", lit by a reading lamp through the white gauze side of the studio and an OHP transparency to get reflections

Les went to a lot of trouble with his pictures. This is another of his favourites. Lit from the right giving a slight shadow on the left.
There was a lot of discussion of Liam's pictures. Most of the group thought the figure walking on the left added to the effectiveness of the picture. Everyone loved the red berries, gradually fading off to the left.
